All Kathy White Yoga is now online.
This page has information for you to access classes online.
First, book your class by using the online booking system where class times and dates are shown
Then details how to login and access the class will be sent in your confirmation email after you book.
Please plan to be online 5 minutes before the class is scheduled to start.
Zoom Meetings is the online platform where all classes are broadcast live. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to learn how to use zoom (hint it's very simple and easy).
Once you have booked your class please read these instructions carefully to set up for your LIVE online class.
You will need a smartphone, ipad or tablet or a laptop computer or a desktop with a webcam.
If you do not have props don’t worry you can improvise.
Depending on the class, you may not need some of these props - but it's good to have them to hand.
All classes will take place on Zoom online meeting platform. Download the zoom app to your phone/ipad/tablet or computer and enter the meeting ID you received in your booking email confirmation.
Angle your phone, tablet, laptop camera or webcam so it is focused on your yoga mat, where I can see you to correct and suggest modifications, for the mostpart you will not need to see your screen but only hear me.
Zoom can be viewed in two modes. Speaker View or group view. Put your app into Speaker View - so if you do look at the screen occasionally, you will only see me.
Your mic should be muted, if you have a question during the class you can unmute or raise your hand.
If you prefer to have your camera off that’s perfectly fine, you can switch video off in the zoom app, or ask me to do it for you, be aware that if your camera is off, I won’t be able to correct any mis-alignments.
IF IT IS YOUR FIRST ONLINE CLASS, PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES EARLY TO SET YOURSELF UP AND THEN RELAX WITH YOUR FEET UP THE WALL.
I will have my computer on ready to go approx 15 mins before class time.
There will be an audio recording made of the class which will be made available in the Kathy White Yoga membership area of my website for other students to listen to. No video of you will be made available to others.

In the membership area of this website, you can access video and audio recordings of Kathy White Yoga classes.
The member area contains recordings of explainations and photos of poses, audio recordings of over 100 Kaiut Class plans that kathy has taught since Sept 2018. There are a few videos of different postures and adaptations and modifications of poses to enable all levels of students to follow the sequences.

Please join online 5 minutes before the time of the class. Especially if this is your first online class.
It will take you a few minutes to get set up so please do this in plenty of time before.
Download the Zoom Meetings app onto your phone or device from Google Play or Apple App Store
Install the app on your computer Download Zoom to your desktop
3. Open the app on your phone, device or computer and click Join A Meeting
4. Enter the meeting ID for the class you are going to attend. It is a 9 digit number in your confirmation email when you booked your class.
5. Type in your name
Relax, put your feet up the wall and wait for the start of your class.
